Pat received an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Even before graduation, Pat gained employment with Ohm Electronics, a Palatine, Illinois-based distributor. His territorial responsibility was the state of Wisconsin.

From Ohm Electronics, Pat went to work in the Wisconsin branch of a regional distributor, Classic Component Supply, and remained there until accepting a purchasing position at Square D in Milwaukee. Pat later joined Stackpole Components Company as Field Sales Engineer and was in a position to form this rep organization when Stackpole decided to exit the electronics market.

Stackpole's two main divisions which were comprised of switches and resistors, were sold to Ark-Les and SEI Electronics respectively. These two companies continue to be solid contributors to our bottom line 14 years later.
